Creativity-Mastery of Simplicity
Interviewer said, " I shall either ask you ten easy questions or one really difficult question. Think well before you make up your mind!"
The candidate thought for a while and said, " My choice is one really difficult question."
" Well, good luck to you, you have made your own choice!" said the interviewer.
Here is your question: " What comes first, Day or Night?"
The boy was jolted into reality as his admission depended on the correctness of the answer to that one question. He thought for a while and said, " It's DAY sir!"
" How?" the interviewer asked.
" Sorry sir, you promised me that you will not ask me a SECOND difficult question!"
Moral : Technical Skill is the mastery of complexity, while Creativity is the mastery of simplicity :)

Dentists also Love Cricket :P
Bro had to go to the dentist yesterday for some cleaning. I thought I'd also get my teeth checked and maybe cleaned if the dentist had time.. We went there and waited for like half an hour cuz he was busy with some with some other patients..
Went inside his room when he called us and got was gettin his work done.. Our dentist is a cool doc.. Bindas and Maskara types.. The patients keep sittin on the chair when he is working on them and he turns to the people who come with the patients and starts cracking jokes.. lol..
Bro's work on his teeth was done, I told him I wanna get mine serviced and took the chair..
He looked inside my mouth, used some of his instruments and said I need to get a couple of fillings done.. I was like ok, will come on Monday.. He said not Monday, come on Wednesday.. I was bout to nod my head and suddenly realised Wed ko apna match hai.. I told him excitedly, Not Wed, Match hai.. He literally jumped off his chair and looking at his diary and says cancel all my appointments, Im on a holiday on Wed from noon, India Pakistan ka match hai.. Ha ha ha.... He forgot that there is a match and gave a couple of appointments :P Then he told me to come on Tuesday.. lol.. It was so situational and funny I tell you :)

19th March 2011 - Earthquakes in India
Dear God,
Here is a personal request from the people on the earth to you living in the heavens. We have already been facing a lot out here.. Every dam place has its own tensions and life has become a pain.. Not that we aren't able to tolerate it, yes we are but you know its going over the heads now..
Jus a couple of days back Japan was in the water :( No body in the world expected such a huge disaster to happen. The biggest Tsunami in last 150 years. Japan is one of the most growing countries, one of the most technology equipped places in the world and there are already many on the earth to take revenge from then, then why this climate to become a natural devastation and spoil millions of people's lifes.
Now I write to you for what might happen on 19th :
It has been widely reported that the ‘Supermoon’ on March 19 will result in Huge storms, earthquakes, volcanoes and other natural disasters. How much of this is true?
Click Here for more detailed view.
Why do you want us to suffer more? In Hyderabad there is a big rumor that a big Earthquake is gonna hit us oin the 19th of March 2011. People are already terrified seeing the Japan mishap happening.. Ab hamara kya hoga sochre sab ke sab.. Aap zara dekh lo.. Zyada tension mat do yahan.. Already Talengana wale jeene nahi dere chain se..,. Jab dekho dimag ki dahi karre.. You plz start being generous and done let something big happen.. Even if the land becomes a lil unstable, let people feel it but no one should die and people shouldnt become home-less..
I can just request you to take care of the people here with your blessings.. Baaki sab devil ki marzi.. :)
Love,
Your child,
Ashish Mehraa :D

The earth will be at its closest point to the moon – 221,567 miles – in 19 years on March 19.
The scientific name for such a phenomenon is “lunar perigee”.
Previous supermoons happened in 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005. Each year had extreme weather events.
However, Dario de la Cruz, chief of the astronomy section of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) was not much worried.
“We have nothing to worry about because people are already aware of this,” he said. “The only effect is we can experience high tide.”

Cross between a Chinese Warrior and a South Indian
This kiddo is like the Cross between A Chinese Fighter and a South Indian super star.. :)
Ha ha ha ha... What a Vid.. I've been laughing since half an hour.. watch the full thing.. Had to share this :P
My bestfriend.. ME!!
Now here comes a nice article my cute lil' friend cum sister wrote a couple of days back and I jus read it.. :) Sharing it for the readers of my blog :)
Blessed are the ones who have a nice group of friends, also to put as: ‘best friends’. Without being offensive to the set of people who religiously believe in the concept of ‘best friends’ and all the jazz, I would personally consider it out of my apprehension. Now this could be because of experiences I had. I believe that people grow experience by experience rather than growing day by day. Every experience or event teaches us lessons for lifetime, be it good or not good.
In this self centered and super competitive setting, the only person you can rely on is YOURSELF. Today, I believe that I can make a difference. I have faith that everything that happens or has happened, made me who I am today. With optimism also comes a valuable amount of genuine belief and closure towards god. God designs our lives. He strategically puts people in our lives for specific reasons: Some people to learn lessons from, others to help you along your way and few others to make you realize how strong you really are. If you can advocate and accept your own self as your best companion, the big bad world’s judgments and unpleasant opinions will simply go un-noticed.
Why worry about what someone has to say about you? While they are busy ‘trying’ to destroy your inner strength, you are being exactly what they could just wish to be.When somebody says you have changed, take it not as an instance of offence instead as an indication that you have stopped living your life their way and on their terms.
Everyone has had their times, so did I, instead of looking back and asking why? I prefer looking forward and asking, why not?
Self control, quiet words and silence is far more powerful than the loudest shout or quarrel you can ever make. Remember, silence is the best way to argue.
Hence, promise me about thanking all the people who’ve walked into your life and made it fantastic and also thank all the others who’ve walked out of your life making wonderful.
Today, I stand here with my teeny-tiny bunch of monkeys whom I have chosen to be my family. My family members and also the ones whom I have chosen as family, complete me. My life is real good.
Could it be better? Absolutely...
Could it be worse? Without a doubt…
But right now… Life is good.
:-)

Burnt Biscuits
Mom liked to make dinner with extra care. And I remember one night in particular when she had made it after a long, hard day at work. That evening, mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed.
All dad did was reach for his biscuit, smiled at mom and asked me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and ate every bite.
When I got up from the table, I remember hearing mom apologize to dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: Honey, I love burned biscuits.
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others' faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship , be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship.
