Perhaps some of you are already aware of this. A Police friend who has tested this method, shared the information and can vouch for it. Can't say why it is so effective.. Just try when it rains heavily and convince yourself. Monsoons are just round the corner so the info is very timely.
Most people, while driving during a heavy downpour, would turn the wipers on HIGH or FASTEST SPEED and yet find that visibility in front of the windscreen is not satisfactory.
When you face such a situation, just try putting on your SUN GLASSES (any normal pair that you may have) and see the miracle for yourself. You'll suddenly find everything in front of your windscreen is very clear as if there is no rain!! The same method works even while driving at night.
This would mean you make sure you always have a pair of sun glasses in your car, if not all the time, at least during monsoons. You will not only be helping yourself to drive safely but might also save someone else's life.
